Sharing gratitude for our veterans
On November 10, OCTA celebrated Veterans Day to honor its employees who served in the military and their families. They have 70 veterans working in different branches like Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. OCTA is known for being a military-friendly employer. Employees and their families received recognition, veteran pins, and challenge coins as a token of appreciation. Challenge coins are a long-standing military tradition that symbolizes unit pride and excellence.
I led the design for OCTA's Veterans Campaign, creating materials like brochures, pins, and challenge coins for our employee veterans. We distributed these to 70 team members who served in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. OCTA is recognized for prioritizing veteran hires. Our employees received veteran pins and challenge coins, embodying a century-old military tradition celebrating unit pride and hard work. It's an honor to have played a role in recognizing and appreciating our veterans.
