Arabic Typeface + Book
In my graphic design journey, I wanted to highlight something special about my background. Arabic was my first language, as I was born and raised in Egypt.
So, I decided to develop my own Arabic writing style. By crafting this unique Arabic typeface, I brought an extra level of excitement to my designs, enabling me to share my story in a fresh and captivating manner.
Overview
During my time at Cal Poly Pomona, I connected with my background and culture heavily in typography workshop, and at the time I was assigned to make an editorial book and typeface of your own style. this moment opened up my eye and I asked myself why don’t I bring my background and culture mixed with English. and from there I connected the dots of coming up with a English/Arabic book that talks about embracing the present moment of live and to make the most of every moment lived.
